Vet Nurse – Irvinestown

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Vet Nurse to join a growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional veterinary care to a range of farm animals, providing both routine and emergency treatment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about large animal medicine, eager to build strong client relationships, and committed to continuing their professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a full range of veterinary services for farm animals, including preventative care, diagnostics, and treatments.
• Manage and assess health plans for farm animals, advising clients on best practices for animal welfare and disease prevention.
• Perform farm visits to provide on-site care, assisting clients with herd management, disease control, and other farm-related needs.
• Be involved in on-call duties and emergency care, providing timely support to clients.
• Develop strong working relationships with clients, ensuring a high standard of customer care and service.

About You:

• You will be a qualified veterinarian with a degree in veterinary medicine, with a particular interest in farm animal care.
• Previous experience in farm animal practice is highly desirable, although recent graduates with a passion for farm animal veterinary care will also be considered.
