New Graduate – Vet Nurse

As a New Graduate Farm Vet, you will receive extensive training and mentorship to help you transition smoothly into your new career. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to develop their skills and gain hands-on experience in farm animal care. You will work alongside an experienced team of veterinarians and support staff, offering you a structured development plan that ensures your growth as a veterinary professional.

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing routine health checks and diagnostics for farm animals
• Administering vaccinations and providing preventative care
• Treating a wide range of livestock conditions and illnesses
• Supporting farm owners with herd management advice
• Assisting in surgeries and medical procedures when required
• Engaging with farm staff to promote animal welfare and biosecurity
• Participating in out-of-hours emergency care as part of the team rotatio

To succeed in this role, you should:

• Have recently graduated with a veterinary degree and be registered with the appropriate regulatory body
