ODP Anaesthetics Team Leader – Croydon

They are currently looking for an experienced and dynamic ODP Anaesthetics Team Leader to join their team and help us continue to deliver outstanding patient care. As the ODP Anaesthetics Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in leading a skilled and dedicated team within the anaesthetics department. You will be responsible for providing expert clinical support during anaesthesia procedures, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the team, and ensuring that high standards of patient care are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the anaesthetics team, ensuring effective coordination and smooth operation of anaesthesia services.
• Provide high-level anaesthetic assistance in a wide range of surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Assist in the preparation, administration, and monitoring of anaesthetic drugs, equipment, and techniques.
• Ensure that all team members adhere to clinical guidelines, protocols, and best practices in anaesthesia care.
• Lead, mentor, and provide professional development support for junior staff and ODPs, fostering a learning environment.
• Act as a role model for clinical practice, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.

Key Requirements:

• HCPC registered Operating Department Practitioner (ODP)
