Imaging Lead – MRI in Cheadle

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Imaging Lead – MRI to join a dynamic imaging team in Cheadle. As the Imaging Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the MRI department, ensuring the highest standards of imaging quality, patient care, and operational efficiency. You will play a key role in leading, training, and supporting a team of MRI technologists, while also collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the smooth running of services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the MRI department, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
• Oversee the quality of MRI imaging, ensuring that the highest clinical and technical standards are maintained.
• Develop and implement MRI protocols in line with clinical requirements and best practices.
• Supervise, mentor, and provide professional development support to the MRI team.
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in MRI procedures.
• Maintain equipment and ensure all machinery is properly calibrated and serviced.
• Monitor and report on department performance, working to continuously improve patient experience and operational efficiency.

Key Requirements:

• Qualified Radiographer with a valid HCPC registration.
• Advanced MRI scanning experience, with a strong background in managing or leading teams.
