Our client, a well-established veterinary practice in Cardiff, is seeking an experienced Equine Veterinary Surgeon to provide maternity cover. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled vet to join a dedicated team committed to delivering high-quality care for sport and pleasure horses.

As an Equine Veterinary Surgeon, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional veterinary services to the practice’s equine patients. You will be responsible for managing a significant performance horse and lameness caseload, utilising your expertise to diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat various equine health conditions
• Perform routine and advanced veterinary procedures
• Provide professional advice to horse owners and trainers
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation

Requirements

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine, registered with the RCVS
